We thought to buy a laptop for my daughter in grade 1 for her code.Org lab and linux based tux paint app. I checked for a new laptop and the cost was not justifying the need. I thought of looking for a refurbished laptop from my company but those devices were coming with any os. There was also a lot of negative reviews on amazon for refurbished laptops being too slow and outdated. I somehow stumbled across edify. We purchased a refurbished dell latitude 5490 i5 , 8 gb ram , 256 gb ssd with windows 10 pro. The delivered product was outstanding. Visual basics studio , python and mysql are running parallel effortlessly. My daughter still has a laptop for her grade 1 computer labs. The laptop also is also connected to my mini projector to stream matches on the bigger screen. Thank you team edify for the bang on buck product !
